Development of a Portfolio Simulation System for Apparel Supply Chain

In this paper, a generic retailer-oriented portfolio simulation system linking manufacturer, retailer, and customer in apparel supply chain is presented. The purpose of the simulator is to generate a portfolio consisting of replenishment strategy and performance index under different sales forecasting errors to satisfy the retailerdefined customer service level in apparel industry. After analyzing the main parameters in the portfolio simulator,the procedure and detailed structure of the simulator are then described. With the use of data from the industry, one case study of the portfolio simulator is achieved and the process of the simulation is validated.     

Primary leiomyosarcoma of the nipple-areola complex： Report of a case and review of literature

Primary leiomyosarcoma of the nipple-areola complex is extremely rare. Less than ten such cases have been reported in English literature so far. Herein we describe a 52-year-old female presenting with a 1.5 cm×1. 1 cm×0.7 cm nodular lesion over her left nipple, and leiomyosarcoma was proved by pathological examination of the excised specimen. Positron emitted tomogram （PET） revealed no abnormal signal other than the primary site. Microscopically, this poorly circumscribed tumor was composed of interlacing bundles of smooth muscle cells with bizarre and pleomorphic nuclei, as well as prominent nucleoli. Its mitotic count was up to 7 mitoses per 10 high power fields （HPF）. Immunohistochemical study of tumor cells revealed positive stain for α-smooth muscle actin and vimentin; and negative for cytokeratin, CD34 and S-100. Left simple mastectomy was undertaken and no residual mass lesion was noted on the resected specimen. Related literatures about the diagnosis and treatment for breast leiomyosarcoma will be presented here.     

地理信息系统城市地下水管理模型研究

许多城市不同程度地存在区域性的地下水水位下降、水质恶化等问题,因此应用先进的理论和方法,确切评价及管理地下水资源,是当前城市供水中亟待解决的问题。地理信息系统（ＧＩＳ）作为一种新兴的空间信息技术系统,广泛应用于资源管理、环境监测、市政规划等许多方面,被越来越多的国家地区部门所重视,并得到了人们的认可。所以,为了更好地研究管理城市地下水资源问题,本文使用ＧＩＳ与数值模型相结合的方法,建立了ＧＩＳ城市地下水管理模型,并应用于某市的实际工作,取到较好的效果。建立的模型有一定的推广价值。

研究了广东省韶关市凡口铅锌矿香蒲湿地系统夏季鸟类群落结构． 结果表明, 随着湿地植物群落的演替, 水生动物群落的物种明显增多, 以致鸟类的种类和数量也明显增多．根据实地观察, 发现人工湿地区域有鸟类２６ 种, 隶属７ 目、１３ 科． 另外, 还比较了香蒲湿地与外围其它自然生境的鸟类物种多样性． 结果表明, 香蒲湿地的鸟类物种多度、物种多样性和鸟类总数都高于外围生境     

RF channel performance assessment for a multiple carrier millimeter-wave communication system

Channel capacity, system versatility and ease of maintenance are factors of prime concern in future generations of wireless communication systems. As a result, millimeter-wave can offer considerable advantages in providing broadband interface. Nonlinearity and noise effects, including parametric fluctuations, are two significant causes for signal degradation in broadband communication systems. Two methods to assess the performance of an RF channel in a multi-carrier system are described. By measuring the forward transfer function from transmitter IF to receiver IF as the frequency is swept across the channel bandwidth, characteristics such as gain flatness, channel dispersion, and saturation effects are revealed. To evaluate the ability of the communication link in preserving the synchronization between two carriers, their heterodyned spectrum at the receiver IF output is studied. Both measurement methods employ standard equipment and have been found to be effective when applied to a multi-carrier millimeter-wave system with over 1 GHz instantaneous bandwidth.     

CURE聚类方法及其在交通信息服务系统中的应用

交通信息服务系统是智能交通系统的重要组成部分,针对交通信息服务系统中存在的模糊地名匹配问题,研究了空间数据挖掘方法中聚类分析方法,并提出了基于串行表示(Clusfering Using REpresentatire,CURE)聚类方法的模糊地名匹配模型和算法.最后以广州市电子地图为例,对提出的算法进行了验证.实验证明采用该算法可以有效的提高空间信息的检索速度和模糊地名匹配效率.
